Sperb’s Herbs – Cleomearabica

This is an exciting episode of the Sperb’s Herbs podcast. This episode covers the herb Cleomearabica. Each episode of the podcast will go into great depth about a single herb. Besides covering the basics of herbology including its category, and functions, we will explore the history, quality, science, pharmacology, evidence, and any potential interactions of each herb. And then there is always something a little quirky about an episode. Whether that is a unique story or an interesting perspective, there will always be something different to learn about Cleomearabica.

This course will be presented on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 1-2pm via live webinar.

Course Goals

A participant will be able to:

1. Comprehend basic, traditional, and bio- medical information about Cleomearabica
2. Converse about the current scientific evidence about the uses, dangers, and effectiveness of Cleomearabica
3. Understand the history of Cleomearabica, especially in the context of its tradition and its modern discovery
4. Understand and prevent any potential drug-herb interactions

This is California Acupuncture Board (CAB) Category 1 live education course. For NCCAOM, each episode is a 1 hour PE-CW PDA.
