Treating Thyroid Conditions with Chinese Medicine
More than 12 percent of the U.S. population will develop a thyroid condition during their lifetime and an estimated 20 million Americans have some form of thyroid disease.* That is a lot of people who need our help. Chinese medicine can offer a lot to treating and supporting thyroid conditions without adverse effects. This course will look at the pathophysiology and signs and symptoms of thyroid conditions from both a biomedical and Chinese medical point of view. We will discuss real world approaches to treating it as well as a discussion of the major modalities of our medicine including both acupuncture and herbal interventions. Whether you are an expert or a beginner at treating thyroid conditions, there will be lots to learn (or relearn) from this course.
